Pokémon VGC 2025 Global Challenge I

The first Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Global Challenge of the VGC 2025 season took place as 14,947 players competed in the 2025 Global Challenge I in Regulation H, an online event on January 31 - February 2, 2025!

During this tournament, which started January 31, 2025 at 00:00 UTC, players can play up to 15 games on January 31, up to 30 games on February 1, and up to 45 games by February 2. Players can enter any game until February 2, 2025 at 23:59 UTC. All players who finished at least 3 games earned 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap, and an Ability Patch.

Players in Japan & Korea competed in this event to earn a spot in their respective regions' qualification events. The top 120 players in Japan qualified for the 2025 Japan Championships Main Tournament. The top 30 players in South Korea qualified for the 2025 Pokémon Trainers Cup.
