The first VGC 2027 Oceania Pokémon Champions Regional and the first played in the Regulation Set M-C format was held as 327 players traveled to compete at the 2027 Brisbane, QLD, Australia Regional on September 26-27, 2026! Players battled through 8 Swiss Rounds in Phase 1 where those who finished with two or fewer losses advanced to Phase 2. Players in Phase 2 played 3 additional Swiss Rounds where those with the same record as the 8th seed advanced to a single-elimination bracket to determine the winner! In addition, Regional Champions earn an invite to the 2027 World Championships.
This event was streamed on OceaniaVGC with Henry Rich, Paul Amedee, Jack Buckley, and Chamath Abeyawardana as casters.
