These are the top 8 teams from the Pokémon Asia Players Cup Grand Finale, the conclusion of a month-long tournament circuit held by The Pokémon Company for players in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Players competed in their respective region's qualifier where the best finishers qualified for the Grand Finale, a single-elimination bracket to determine a champion. All 8 finalists earned a Day 1 invite to the 2022 World Championships and the 2 finalists earned an invite to the Global Exhibition. The eventual winner would earn both a Day 2 invite and a travel award to the 2022 World Championships.
